Google is testing including a background coloration, shade, to the featured snippets on cell search.
We noticed this in February with regular snippets, additionally with site names and favicons and likewise with product results. Now Google is testing it for featured snippets.
Brodie Clark noticed this and posted it on X and his SERP notes. He wrote:
Google is now testing out totally different background colors for featured snippets on cell. Typically exhibiting with a blue or gray, the check mimics the same remedy for featured snippets in information panels, possible making an attempt to slot in extra with AIOs.
