Google has this new map unit that’s titled “Associated locations” and reveals a map with a carousel beneath it of associated locations. This really comes up for model identify searches, which is not nice – why would you need Google to indicate competitor names once you seek for a selected model identify.
This was noticed by Brodie Clark who posted on X and on SERPnotes and wrote, “Would like that this maps check did not exhibiting for shoppers, giving visibility to opponents.
