There are quite a few reviews of Google sending out e-mail notifications about there being new homeowners added to your Search Console profiles. The brand new proprietor notification emails have been going out since Friday of final week or so and appear to be a part of some bug.
It’s unclear if that is in any respect related to the Search Console reporting delays from final week. My guess, it in all probability is unrelated.
Some are getting “countless” and quite a few notifications about the identical customers being added as a “new person” when these customers have been added years in the past (in some instances).

I am observing an odd bug with the GSC.
Through the time when the GSC was not up to date for 100 hours, I added a brand new person with proprietor permissions for some properties within the GSC.
Now, daily, like 2-3 occasions a day, all different customers get emails that the brand new proprietor has been added……

Dave Sensible, a Google Prime Contributor within the boards, stated he handed this alongside as a result of he thinks this can be a bug. He wrote:
