    Google Updates hreflang Documentation On Alternate Page Version

    Google has tweaked its hreflang search developer documentation to make clear that hyperlink tags for denoting alternate variations of a web page should not be mixed in a single hyperlink tag. Google stated it needed to doc this “quirk” in its documentation.

    The previous documentation wrote:
